it’s that time of year. the blossoms are in full bloom, flowers are filing the air with their sweet scent, and our jackets are being left on their hooks in the house. it’s spring. mother’s day is only a couple of weekends away, may 11. how will you be celebrating mother’s day? i was hired last weekend to photograph three generations of beautiful women. grandma is a huge support and has an amazing relationship with her granddaughters so mom decided a portrait session was definitely the best option to celebrate and appreciate their love. such a great mothers day gift idea!

there is time to have a portrait session done before mother’s day, however i do offer gift certificates!

as a mother myself, and more often than not, on the opposite side of the camera, i really appreciate a good portrait of my daughter and i. i literally have thousands of adorable portraits of my husband and the girly! once i year we have our family portraits done so that i can be on the documented side. so that my daughter has something to look back on. to see us cuddling. to see the love, the way i look at her, the way i held her. these are the important moments. and remembering myself as a teenager, i have a feeling i’m going to appreciate having the photographs of a time she let me cuddle her ;)
