how adorable are these kiddies?! a couple of weeks ago i spent an afternoon hanging out with these littles in their yaletown home and neighbourhood. after a bit of indoor play we headed outside before getting rained out and went in again for hot chocolate and cookies. when i photograph younger kids and toddlers i find the session is much more successful if we just play. no fussing over posing or saying cheese (although sometimes we can do a bit of that too!), just following them around, chatting, listening to their stories… this is where the magic is.

also, can i just say how amazing this momma is?! raising her kids downtown and blogging all about over here. love it!
